Job summary
The International Rescue Committee in Silver Spring, Maryland, is seeking a Legal Intern for the Summer semester. The intern will support CLS attorneys in providing legal services to unaccompanied youth facing deportation. Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited JD or LLM program.
Spanish proficiency is a plus but not required.
Strong desire to help immigrant youth in Maryland.
Responsibilities
Perform client interviews and follow-up meetings.
Conduct factual and legal research and analysis.
Assist in drafting immigration applications and legal documents.
