CWJC seeks an attorney to join a vibrant, talented team that provides legal assistance in a range of humanitarian-based immigration law matters. The attorney's work will focus on removal defense work, largely but not exclusively for non-detained individuals. The position is funded by a state grant under the Massachusetts Access to Counsel Initiative (\"MACI\") initiative which is designed to expand access to counsel for Massachusetts noncitizens in removal proceedings and will provide specialized training and mentorship. The attorney will be based in CWJC's Worcester office and, in addition to directly serving clients, will assist in the preparation of periodic grant reports.
