Citizenship and Immigration Services, part of the Department of Homeland Security, seeks an Immigration Officer to help safeguard the nation by guiding adjudications, researching policies, and pursuing suspected fraud. Training includes the FDNS and USCIS basic officer programs, with potential for telework.

You may be assigned shift work; a Secret clearance is required and the salary range posted is $75,897 to $140,627 per year.

Qualifications

• COMBINING QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION (at the GS-11 level only): If you do not qualify based on experience or education alone, you may be able to qualify based on a combination of your experience and education.
• Transcript required: If you don't submit a transcript, we will not use your education when deciding if you're qualified for the job.

Responsabilités

• As an Immigration Officer, you will provide guidance, conduct research for policy enhancements, and identify, articulate, and pursue suspected immigration benefit fraud.
• The responsibilities described are for the full performance level; developmental grades will have more limited scope.
