Job summary

Dalal & Mehta Law Firm is seeking an experienced immigration attorney to manage the EOIR docket for approximately 175 removal cases on a part-time basis (25 hours/week). You will work closely with the Managing Attorney and paralegals to keep cases organized, deadlines protected, and hearings prepared.

The role requires removal defense experience, sound legal judgment, and reliable follow-through. Remote collaboration via Microsoft Teams is expected, with some substantive motion writing as

Qualifications

• Active U.S. law license with EOIR eligibility.
• Experience handling EOIR removal defense matters.
• Ability to supervise paralegals and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EOIR docket, hearing calendar, deadlines, and milestones.
• Review court orders and status, assign next steps and track progress.
• Coordinate with attorney on strategy and priorities for relief.
• Direct paralegal team, provide instructions, and ensure accountability.
• Ensure filings, service, and case notes are timely and accurate.
• Assist with emergency motions or urgent legal writing as needed.
