Job summary

CoreCivic is seeking a Case Processing Specialist in the United States. The role provides case processing and administrative support to ICE, including records management and document preparation, under ICE field office supervision.

Responsibilities include data entry in ICE systems, gathering court records, assisting with criminal history checks, and preparing removal-related documents. Travel within the U.S. may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Social or Behavioral Science, or related field.
• One year of experience in criminal justice, corrections, or related field.
• Experience and/or training in reviewing law enforcement documentation or conducting immigration/detention interviews preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides case processing and administrative support to ICE's mission, including records management and document preparation.
• Enters case data into ICE systems with accuracy and data integrity.
• Retrieves and organizes county, state, and federal records for ICE review.
• Assists ICE legal representatives with criminal history checks and supporting documentation.
• Prepares, reviews, and manages case files; ensures documentation is complete and updated.
• Coordinates with EOIR and USCIS; facilitates hearing schedules and adjudications.
• Reviews paperwork for filing stays, orders of supervision, bonds, and related documentation for completeness.
• Coordinates with ICE officers to facilitate interviews, hearings, and removals.
• Maintains up-to-date case status records and generates reports and dashboards.
• Ensures removal documents are prepared, including travel documents; verifies document completeness and transfer for storage.
• Performs routine duties to maintain order in holding areas and during transport, including welfare checks.
