Law Offices of Hector J. Lopez, PLLC in Houston seeks a bilingual Immigration Attorney for its Removal Defense Practice Group.

Represent clients in removal proceedings, prepare asylum applications (affirmative and defensive), file petitions, motions and briefs, and perform legal research as needed. Must be admitted in Texas or any state and fluent in Spanish.

1–2 years of removal defense experience preferred; salary $90,000–$120,000 per year; full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to Texas or any U.S. state.
• Fluent Spanish required.
• Ability to manage complex tasks and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to supervise legal support staff.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced Removal Defense practice.
• Must be able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Galleria area immigration law firm seeks a BILINGUAL (Spanish) IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY for its Removal Defense Practice Group.

Represent clients in Removal Proceedings. Prepare clients and attend interviews at USCIS. Prepare Asylum applications, both, affirmative and defensive. Prepare and file immigration petitions, motions, legal briefs. Perform legal research as needed.

MUST BE ADMITTED IN TEXAS OR ANY U.S. STATE. MUST SPEAK FLUENT SPANISH. The ideal candidate must be able to manage complex tasks efficiently; prioritize workload in an extremely time-sensitive field of law; meet strict deadlines; be highly detail-oriented and have the ability to edit carefully; provide outstanding client service; flexible and adaptable to fast-paced setting; organized; self-motivated with strong initiative; possess a positive attitude and a professional demeanor. Must be able to supervise legal support staff. Proficiency with Word, Excel and Google calendar. Proficiency with Cerenade (preferred). Must have excellent written communication skills.

Candidates must be able to accept employment in the United States with any employer without visa sponsorship.

1-2 years of Removal Defense Litigation Experience desired but will consider less experience
