Immigration Attorney – Remote or Hybrid (EST)
Location: Portland, ME (remote or hybrid option available). Type: Full-Time.

Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients before USCIS and EOIR in a wide range of matters, including removal defense, asylum, and family-based petitions.
- Develop case strategies in collaboration with paralegals and support staff.
- Provide high-quality, client-focused counsel while maintaining compliance with all ethical obligations.
- Prepare legal documents, filings, and maintain thorough records.
- Attend hearings, interviews, and conferences as needed.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active Bar membership, in good standing, in any U.S. jurisdiction.
- 1–2+ years of experience in immigration law (removal defense, asylum, or family petitions strongly preferred).
- Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Office 365; experience with Zoom or Webex is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated passion for immigrant rights and ability to work with individuals from diverse cultures and language backgrounds.
- Fluency in an additional language (Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Lingala) strongly preferred.
