Catholic Charities of Oregon is seeking an Immigration Attorney / DOJ Accredited Representative to join the Immigration Legal Services team in SE Portland. The role emphasizes family reunification and assistance to vulnerable immigrants, including domestic violence victims, refugees, and individuals needing removal defenses.

You will provide direct legal services, consultations, and representation before DHS, handling complex petitions, waivers, and removals.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school and bar admission in any state or DOJ accreditation.
• Experience in immigration law preferred (1 year).
• Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish and English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct immigration legal services to low-income individuals.
• Offer legal consultations and representation before DHS.
• Represent clients in family-based petitions, waivers, consular processing, and adjustments of status.
