Job summary

Clark Hill seeks an Immigration Associate in its Washington, D.C. office with 1+ years in immigration law. This full-time role offers remote work two days per week and ongoing opportunities in a fast-paced, writing-intensive practice.

The ideal candidate will have active bar membership, experience on RFE responses, NIWs, O-1/EB-1 petitions, and strong drafting, research, and advocacy skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.

  • Communicate and collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and clients.
  • Complete and review forms, applications, and supporting documentation.
  • Gather facts and evidence to support client applications and other immigration matters.

Job description

Clark Hill is seeking an Immigration Associate with 1+ years of experience to join its Washington, D.C. office. Ideal candidates will have a demonstrated interest in the field of immigration law and possess at least one year of experience at an immigration law firm as an associate, law clerk, paralegal, or similar role in which they worked on writing-intensive immigration cases. Candidates must have an active bar membership in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction). This is a full-time position with the ability to work remotely two days per week.

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills:

  • Extensive writing-intensive immigration cases
  • Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills
  • A high-level attention to detail and strong academic credentials
  • Possess the ability to stay organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Should enjoy and excel at creative writing
Day To Day Responsibilities Will Include
  • Take the lead on writing-intensive matters, including RFE responses, NIWs, O-1/EB-1 petitions, J-1 waiver applications, and similar filings
  • Prepare and submit filings to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and other government agencies
  • Communicate and collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and clients
  • Complete and review forms, applications, and supporting documentation
  • Gather facts and evidence to support client applications and other immigration matters

The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $90,000 - $125,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
