JJ Moore & Associates seeks an Immigration Associate Attorney with a minimum of two years of immigration law experience to join their growing legal team in Nashville. You will manage your own cases, work closely with experienced attorneys, paralegals, and support staff, and directly assist clients on humanitarian, family-based, and removal defense matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of two years of immigration law experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage cases and deadlines effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Compassionate and professional approach to working with clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing high‑quality, ethical, and client‑centered representation.

Responsabilités

• Meet with clients and assess their immigration options.
• Develop and manage case strategies.
• Handle humanitarian and family-based matters, including VAWA, U Visas, adjustment of status, waivers, and consular processing.
• Draft and review applications, petitions, declarations, legal arguments, and RFE responses.
• Prepare clients for USCIS interviews.
• Represent clients before USCIS and Immigration Court, depending on your experience.
• Review casework prepared by paralegals and work collaboratively with the legal team.
• Keep clients informed about their cases and next steps.
• Manage deadlines and maintain accurate case records.
