Job summary

Charm Connect in Washington, Canada is seeking a talented VR/AR Developer to design and build immersive experiences for mobile web and headset platforms. You will work with designers, artists, and programmers to push the boundaries of VR/AR technology.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in CS, at least 2 years of software/game development experience, and strong skills in C/C++, Unity or Unreal Engine, and 3D modeling tools like Maya or 3ds Max.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in software development or game development.
• Proficiency in C or C++.
• Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling software, e.g., Maya, 3ds Max.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop VR/AR applications for various platforms.
• Translate concepts into functional VR/AR experiences in collaboration with designers.
• Integrate 3D assets into VR/AR environments in partnership with artists.
• Use game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine to create interactive experiences.
• Test and debug code to ensure optimal performance on different platforms.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the VR/AR industry.
