Job summary

Amgen is offering an Undergrad Co-op – Interactive Developer / Immersive Course Programmer for Manufacturing. Join a team that designs, creates, and implements immersive training using VR/AR to engage and evaluate participants in drug manufacturing processes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to simulate complex manufacturing workflows in a virtual environment, building interactive projects and visual concepts using Unreal Engine 5, Maya, and Substance 3D Texturing.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program from an accredited college or university.
• Expected completion of at least 2 years of study in Video Game Programming, Video Game Art, and/or 3D Design, prior to the co‑op commencing.

Responsibilities

• Create interactive projects (video games, AR/VR experiences).
• Develop visual concepts.
• Proficiency in 3D game engine development with Unreal Engine 5.
• Experience with 3D modeling, animation, texturing, and real-time rendering.
• Capable of understanding complex processes and generating training experiences in a virtual space.
• Experience with Unreal Engine, Autodesk Maya, Adobe Substance 3D Texturing, Visual Studio, and other related digital content creation tools.
