Qualifications

• Intern must be actively enrolled in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program.
• Ideal candidate will have completed sophomore year and be enrolled in a 4-year college/university.
• Strong communication and analytical skills required; familiarity with MS Office and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Preparing plans, designs, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Gathering and/or providing data for engineering or environmental reports and studies.
• Performing and/or reviewing calculations or reports related to geometrics, transportation engineering, and quantities.
• Utilizing MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCad/Civil3D.
• Conducting field investigations and/or survey assistance to gather information.
• Documenting and/or observing construction operations.
• Writing memoranda, letters, or general reports; maintaining records; attending meetings.

Skills

Strong written and oral communication

Valid driver’s license

Education

ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program
