Job summary

Grand Canyon University is seeking an Immersive Simulation Facilitator for its Nursing Faculty in Englewood, CO. This onsite role supports Clinical Simulation activities and coordinates with Nursing Services to schedule and manage equipment for practice scenarios.

The candidate will lead design, trials, and evaluation of simulations, orient staff and faculty, and ensure safety with AV and simulation tools. A CO RN license and MSN are required, with 2+ years in healthcare education or simulation.

Qualifications

• Must hold active CO RN license.
• Two years related experience in healthcare, clinical education, or healthcare simulation education.
• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program (CCNE/NLNAC/ACEN).

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary educational support for Clinical Simulation Activities.
• Coordinate with the Director of Nursing Services to schedule activities and manage equipment.
• Oversee all training processes to meet learning outcomes.
• Lead scenario design trials and evaluation as part of the curriculum.
• Orient and direct simulation staff and faculty before scenarios and debriefings.
• Coordinate faculty with video annotation, data capture and outcome reporting.
• Ensure safety and proper use of all simulation manikins and AV equipment.
• Provide reports to didactic faculty on student progress.
• Occasionally work evenings and weekends as required.
