Job summary

Agog seeks a Labs and Residencies Manager to build and scale immersive-media labs, residencies, and educational initiatives in a hybrid role across the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, or Seattle.

Reporting to the Director of Programs, you will lead curriculum development, manage participant and partner experiences, and synthesize insights to strengthen future programs. You’ll work with Programs, Production, and Marketing teams to align strategy and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience managing XR training programs or adult-education programs
• Ability to develop and manage partnerships
• Familiarity with XR production techniques
• Interest in XR/immersive media for social impact
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfort learning new technology platforms and tools
• Experience with project management tools (Asana, Notion)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative, proactive problem-solving
• Interest in Agog’s focus areas: climate, racial equity, Indigenous knowledge, or journalism

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of Agog’s labs, including host partner coordination, participant selection, materials, and logistics.
• Serve as the primary relationship manager for lab partners, such as universities and emerging-tech incubator programs, ensuring strong communication, alignment, and successful program delivery.
• Partner with the Director of Programs, Head of Production, and subject-matter experts to coordinate curriculum development and delivery.
• Facilitate immersive-media educational experiences that create a welcoming, engaging environment for participants.
• Analyze participant feedback, program outcomes, and operational learnings to identify trends and recommend improvements to future programs, curriculum, and partnerships.
