Hebrew Public in Philadelphia is seeking an energetic Hebrew Teacher to lead 1st- and 2nd-grade Hebrew, with a co-teaching partner, delivering immersive language instruction that builds speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

Beyond Hebrew, you will cover lunch and recess, participate in a 6th-grade elective, and contribute to a collaborative school culture focused on global citizenship and inclusive urban education.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Strong Hebrew language proficiency for beginning learners.
• Pennsylvania certification preferred or in progress.
• Experience teaching Hebrew or world languages preferred.
• Experience working in urban school communities preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Teach 30-minute Hebrew classes for 1st–2nd grade using immersive methods.
• Co-teach with another educator to plan instruction and support student needs.
• Use provided Hebrew curriculum and instructional resources.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on observations.
• Provide lunch and recess coverage.
• Teach a 6th-grade elective.
