Responsibilities include teaching integrated Hebrew and Judaic Studies to elementary students, covering Hebrew reading/writing/speaking/listening, holidays, prayer, Torah, and Israel, while differentiating

Qualifikationen

• Native or near-native fluency in Hebrew.
• Preferred minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a Jewish day school or immersion setting.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with current language instruction methodologies and technologies.
• Committed to Hillel’s mission and values.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (Master’s preferred).

Aufgaben

• Teach integrated Hebrew and Judaic Studies classes to elementary school students including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
• Teach Jewish holidays, prayer, Torah, and Israel, with a focus on Jewish values and nurturing a strong sense of Jewish identity.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Foster a classroom culture that promotes respect, curiosity, and a love of Judaism, Hebrew, and Israel.
