Job summary

RSM, a Charlotte-based experiential marketing agency, is seeking an Experiential Designer with exceptional 3D visualization and rendering skills to transform ideas into immersive branded experiences.

This role requires strong design instincts, spatial thinking, and meticulous attention to detail to capture atmosphere, consumer engagement, and buildability across retail environments and live brand activations.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio showcasing experiential, environmental, retail, or branded environment design work. Agency experience preferred.
• Advanced 3D visualization and rendering skills with understanding of lighting, composition, materials, texture, and realism.
• Proficiency in relevant 3D visualization software and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience creating compelling pitch materials, presentation visuals, and client-facing design assets.
• Strong understanding of spatial design, environmental graphics, branded environments, and experiential marketing.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative agency environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong design instincts with the ability to elevate concepts through visual storytelling.
• Experience utilizing modern rendering workflows, AI-enhanced tools, and emerging visualization technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality 3D renderings and visualizations for experiential activations, events, retail environments, and branded spaces
• Translate creative concepts into immersive visual storytelling that communicates vision, scale, and engagement
• Collaborate with creative, strategy, and account teams through concept development, pitch creation, and client presentations
• Shape environmental design elements including layouts, materials, lighting, signage, and experiential details within renderings
• Create presentation-ready visuals, including hero renderings and environmental perspectives to elevate storytelling
• Balance creative exploration with practical considerations to ensure feasibility and buildability
• Contribute fresh design thinking and visual inspiration across projects
• Maintain high standards of creative excellence and visual consistency across deliverables
