Job Title: Sales Executive

Position Purpose:

Secure new business by selling Regulated Medical Waste and Compliance service solutions. Responsible for growing revenue and profitability in the North LA territory, including cities like Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Santa Barbara, Burbank, Glendale, and Bakersfield. The Sales Executive must reside within this territory.

Key Job Activities:
  1. Call on healthcare facilities to schedule on-site appointments and demonstrate our compliance capabilities, building and maintaining a strong pipeline.
  2. Utilize prospecting and business development skills to achieve new business, selling regulated medical waste, OSHA, and HIPAA compliance solutions, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge and value to customers.
  3. Re-engage previous Stericycle customers to win back lost business by demonstrating capabilities and aligning solutions with their needs.
  4. Build and sustain strong relationships with new and existing customers, leveraging face-to-face interactions and growing the business through additional services.
  5. Follow up on targeted marketing campaigns to expand business within the territory.
  6. Participate in market development activities to identify underdeveloped areas and implement initiatives to increase market penetration and sales.
Education:

Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Experience:
  • 2-3 years of field/outside sales experience preferred.
  • Experience selling in a B2B environment with varying sales cycles and decision levels preferred.
  • Experience in high-volume/high-transaction industries preferred.
  • Post-secondary education strongly desired.
  • CRM experience (Salesforce, SAP) advantageous but not required.
  • Strong sales pipeline management, prospecting, and business development skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation skills, and professional etiquette.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and social media.
  • Results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to travel within the territory; valid driver’s license required.
  • California salary posting: Base salary $68,640-$72k, OTE $170k-$175k, uncapped commission.
