Summary DescriptionUnder direction, provides a wide variety of supports to meet the needs of the school or program related to system goals for the effective use of interactive instructional technologies; assists in developing asynchronous learning materials, procuring digital learning applications, and leading professional development experiences for school or program teams and staff that fosters the development of technological pedagogical content knowledge and rigorous instructional practices; including but not limited to critical thinking, differentiation, and assessment as and for learning. Additionally, serves as a knowledgeable resource and guide to teachers and school/office leadership in the use of interactive digital tools as an integrated part of teachers’ instructional programs and for facilitating professional development of school leadership and staff; supports teachers in the creation and development of interactive, inquiry-based lessons that facilitate the purposeful use of technology and incorporate digital content resources; and supports the creation and development of multi-modal, universally designed, community-centered classrooms that provide access, opportunity, and support for a diverse range of learners. This teacher support position works directly with adults to support the implementation of the instructional program and assists them in improving teaching and learning. Physical Demands: As required by the duties of the job. Special Requirements: Required to attend school/office meetings, programs and activities outside the instructional day as mandated by the MCEA agreement.

Education Training Experience

Bachelor^s degree in applicable field of education from an accredited college or university required. Coursework and/or experience in the effective use of current technology, software and applications in K-12 educational settings.Certificate License:Meets Maryland State certification requirements in appropriate field of education.
