Qualifications

• Preferred HQ with a Bachelor's degree in education or related field (not required).
• Alternative HQ via Graduate degree in core academic area (not required).
• Teaching certification is recommended but not required.
• Teaching experience in a Public School is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and motivate students in all course study.
• Assign lessons and correct homework.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a conducive learning center.
• Support a learning environment that is safe, attractive and stimulating.
• Set a good housekeeping example in the learning center and encourage students to follow it.
• Inspire students with consistency, care, and interest to build students’ self-esteem and continued success.
• Praise students and encourage them to build character.
• Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the students’ learning experiences.
