Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain district facilities using routine procedures to maintain safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds.
• Maintain a cleaning schedule including floors, chalkboards, wastebaskets, windows, furniture, equipment, and restrooms.
• Assist with lunchroom setup, including arranging tables and chairs; move furniture as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure comfort, health, and safety of students and staff; report major repair needs to principal.
• Regulate heat, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to provide appropriate temperatures and conserve resources.
• Assist in setting up facilities for special events; open and close buildings each school day following safety procedures.
