Job summary

Amergis Staffing is seeking a Credential Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students with special needs in Orange County. The position covers the 2026-2027 school year with immediate start.

You will prepare IEPs, design individual and small-group instruction aligned to the general curriculum, and coordinate IEP implementation with the IEP team and parents. Work hours are typically Monday–Friday, about 35–40 hours weekly, with full- or part-time options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in an appropriate field.
• Mod/Severe Credential required; Mild/Moderate Credential required.
• CA Teaching License required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares student education plans in consultation with parents and IEP team members.
• Designs instruction, both individual and small group, paralleling the general education curriculum.
• Serves as the coordinator of IEP implementation with general education staff.
• Monitors student progress and participates in review and revision of student’s IEP, as appropriate.
• Other Special Education Teacher related duties as assigned.
