Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Chico, CA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under the direction of nursing leadership. You will assist residents with daily living activities, support safety, and help maintain high-quality care.

You will perform rounds, verify resident IDs before care, document observations, and collaborate with the care team to ensure timely, respectful service.

Qualifications

• Licensed CNA with at least 6 months of experience or clinical experience while in a CNA program.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Desire to serve ill, aged and infirm residents.
• Must relate well to ill, disabled, elderly residents and provide compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and periodically to administer care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals.
• Make beds and keep bedside areas clean.
• Ensure water pitchers are filled and within resident reach.
• Report concerns to Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, or Administrator.
