Position Details:

Position Type: QC Lab Technician
Job Location: Princeton/Plainsboro, NJ area
Compensation: $33 per hour
Length of Assignment: 4 months with a possibility of extension
Schedule: Monday-Friday - 8:30am-4:30pm

Keys:

• Must have a Food Science, Chemistry, or Biology background – recent graduates encouraged to apply
• Must be able to work well with others
• MS Office products – must be at an advanced level

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist technologists in the preparation of beverages and conduct basic laboratory tests
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of experiments, results, and observations.
• Support technologists with data collection and processing for ongoing projects.
• Ensure laboratory safety protocols are followed, including proper handling and disposal of flavors and food samples.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of lab supplies
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of lab equipment and workspaces.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred in Food Science, Chemistry, or Biology
Previous experience in either an academic or professional lab environment
