Job Overview

Essential Staffing Solutions is seeking dependable, hard-working, and self-motivated Apartment HVAC Certified Maintenance Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair major appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers.
• Perform electrical repairs and replacements, including switches, outlets, and light fixtures.
• Conduct plumbing repairs and replacements as needed.
• Perform carpentry work, lock repairs, or replacements as required.
• Complete make-ready/punch-outs on vacant units to prepare them for new residents.
• Address residential work orders for current residents efficiently and professionally.
• Assist in renovation projects to enhance property quality and appeal.
• Maintain community curb appeal through landscaping, exterior maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• HVAC and EPA certification required.
• Own tools are required.
• At least 1 year of experience in apartment maintenance or related field.
• Proven experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC units.
• Experience with major appliance repair, electrical work, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and customer service.
