We are actively seeking two seasoned SAP Basis Consultants for a 12-month contract engagement focused on a major SAP system upgrade initiative. This is a remote role (working Eastern or Central Time Zone hours), with an immediate start.

The SAP Basis Consultant will play a key role in the upgrade of SAP systems, ensuring performance, availability, and system security are maintained throughout the project. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with deep technical expertise in SAP Basis, particularly with ECC6 upgrades on AIX/DB2 environments.

• Execute SAP system upgrades and support package installations (ECC, BW/BI, PI/PO, Solution Manager, BODS, CRM, BPC, PLM, SuccessFactors)
• Work closely with existing Basis and DBA teams throughout the upgrade lifecycle
• Maintain detailed documentation and standard operating procedures
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and performance standards

Required Experience:

• Hands-on experience upgrading ECC6 from EHP7 to EHP8 on AIX/DB2
• Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver upgrades (from 7.4 to 7.52 strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with Db2 upgrades (11.1 to 11.5) and AIX patch level updates
• Prior experience handling large SAP landscapes (240+ systems)
• Expertise in SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8, SAP NetWeaver 7.5, and related environments
• Start Date: ASAP
• Interview Process: Single round with the hiring manager (30–60 minutes)
• Remote: Yes (must work ET or CT business hours)
• Contract Length: 12 months (with possibility of extension)
