Job summary

TFT Global Inc. is seeking a Quality Team Leader to provide hands-on leadership to a team of Quality Inspectors on the production floor.

You will supervise, train, and guide Inspectors, ensuring quality and safety standards are met while maintaining daily operations. The ideal candidate has experience in quality inspection or manufacturing and is ready to grow into a lead role, communicating clearly with customers and internal teams and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection, quality control, manufacturing, or related environment.
• Experience training, mentoring, guiding, or supporting coworkers.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow and explain work instructions and procedures.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn job-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership and daily direction to Quality Inspectors.
• Train Inspectors on work instructions, quality expectations, and job requirements.
• Prepare and communicate work instructions.
• Help set up work cells and maintain 5S and organized work areas.
• Review quality and production data.
• Support accurate timekeeping for assigned employees.
• Participate in new employee orientation and training.
• Provide input for employee performance evaluations and competency reviews.
• Communicate with customer representatives when needed.
• Support ISO procedures, continuous improvement, safety, and quality requirements.

TFT Global Inc. is looking for a Quality Team Leader to provide hands-on leadership to a team of Quality Inspectors. This is a great opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step into leadership while still working directly with the team on the floor.

You don't necessarily need years of management experience. We're looking for someone who understands quality, communicates well, can train and guide others, and is ready for more responsibility. The position provides hands‑on supervision of assigned Inspectors, employee training, quality‑related documentation, data review, competency reviews, and customer communication.

What You'll Do

As a Quality Team Leader, you'll:

• Provide hands‑on leadership and daily direction to Quality Inspectors

• Train Inspectors on work instructions, quality expectations, and job requirements
• Prepare and communicate work instructions
• Help set up work cells and maintain 5S and organized work areas
• Review quality and production data
• Support accurate timekeeping for assigned employees
• Participate in new employee orientation and training
• Provide input for employee performance evaluations
• Complete competency reviews for Inspectors
• Communicate with customer representatives when needed
• Support ISO procedures, continuous improvement, safety, and quality requirements
• Help ensure work is performed safely, accurately, and according to customer expectations

We're especially interested in candidates with quality inspection or manufacturing experience who are ready to grow into a lead role.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience in quality inspection, quality control, manufacturing, production, automotive, warehouse, or a related environment

• Experience training, mentoring, guiding, or supporting coworkers
• Strong communication skills
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow and explain work instructions and procedures
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn job‑related systems and scanners
• Familiarity with 5S, ISO procedures, or continuous improvement is a plus
• Ability to work effectively with employees and customers
• Flexibility to meet changing customer and operational needs
• A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and vehicle insurance, as some local travel is required

Only candidates who meet the minimum requirements will be considered. Wages are starting at $21.55 per hour.
