Salary: $25-27 when benefits added after 60 days

Experienced Steel Welder/Fabricator:

Requirements:

  • Verifiable 5-10 years of Full-Time MIG Welding AND Fabricating experience with AWS weld certifications D.1.1 - will consider degree in welding or certificate equivalent to 1 year of Full-Time experience
  • Knowledge of industry terminology
  • Ability to read weld symbols and prints
  • Ability to accurately measure
  • Ability to follow verbal and written directions
  • Weld & Fabrication test required during interview process - structural steel fabrication
  • Must be reliable and arrive at work on time every day scheduled
  • If overtime is necessary - must be willing to work as early as 6am & work Saturday mornings (gone by noon)
  • Provide own basic tools; list provided during interview
  • Polite, friendly, cooperative attitude
  • Efficient team player with good communication skills to get the job done properly
  • Standing 90-100% of the day on concrete floors in covered, outdoor conditions (inside warehouse/shop environment)
  • Ability to push, pull and assist movement of heavy materials using crane, forklift and carts as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50-75lbs on a regular basis
  • Standing/stooping for long periods using various equipment
  • Holding welding and/or grinding equipment for 8+ hours a day

Starting Rate of Pay: $21.00-22.00/hr - review after 90 days of employment to determine payscale moving forward. At 90 days, employees will be evaluated based on daily performance, attendance, attitude, aptitude, and time management to determine pay rate moving forward. Benefits are mostly paid by the company and add approximately $5/hr to pay rate.

Benefits: (These company paid benefits add approximately $5/hour to your hourly rate of pay on the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment)

  • Paid weekly direct deposit available; must have VOIDED Check or Direct Deposit advice from bank attached to DD Form
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, AD&D, and Life Insurance benefits actually kick in on the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment
    • Approx 83% of medical, dental, vision paid by the company for the Employee Only with option to upgrade your coverage, add spouse and children, by paying the difference for Employee only with the base insurance coverage the employee portion is around $125/month
    • AD&D and Life insurance is 100% paid by the company
  • Review at 90 days to determine correct pay scale for your skills, attitude, and performance
  • After 90 days you earn:
    • Up to 40 hours a year of company paid sick time - starts accruing on your first day, can be used after 90 days
    • 3 paid holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day
    • Non-paid holidays that we take off depending on workload and timing (for example: the day after Thanksgiving, July 4th, Memorial Day, Labor Day, etc.)
    • Optional supplemental insurances such as short term, critical care, etc. are available at the employee's cost
    • Discounts at local retailers
  • After 6 months you earn:
    • 401k that has a safe harbor company match of 3% then a % match for each % up to 5%
      • Example: Joe puts 5% into his 401k each paycheck, the company contributes 4%
      • Example: Jane puts 3% into his 401k each check, the company puts in 3% too
    • Enrollment is at the 1st of each quarter, you enroll after your qualification date on one of the following dates: Jan 1, Apr 1, July 1, Oct 1
  • After 12 months you earn: One week of paid vacation time
  • After 3 years you earn: Two weeks of paid vacation, instead of one week
