Job Specific Information : This will be a long term assignment though the end of the school year, June 15, 2027.Wage range is dependent on multiple factors. For wage information for this position, please contact the hiring manager. The exact wage depends on multiple factors including but not limited to: the nature of the project, prior experience in MCPS, and current negotiated agreements. This is a Temporary Part Time (TPT) position that does not include benefits.

Summary Description

Under the direction of the middle school principal, plans and provides for appropriate learning experiences for adolescent students. Working with interdisciplinary teams, provides a school culture conducive to the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of adolescents to ensure success for every student. Supervises middle school students in a variety of school-related settings. Communicates and collaborates with middle school students, staff, parents, and community. Develops, selects, and differentiates instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all middle school students. Maintains appropriate records, follows required procedures and practices, and uses data analysis to monitor student achievement. Monitors appropriate use and care of equipment, materials, and facilities.Physical Demands:As required by the duties and responsibilities of the job.Special Requirements:Required to attend school meetings, programs and activities outside the instructional day as mandated by the MCEA agreement.
