DC Prep is seeking a Food Service Coordinator to oversee daily meal service for our students, ensuring healthy nourishment and a clean, orderly cafeteria. This 10-month, non-exempt role runs about 40 hours per week and reports to the campus operations leader.
You will manage meal records, coordinate with vendors, supervise meal periods, and support campus events. A Food Handler License is required, and Spanish language skills are a plus.

The Food Service Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily meal service process for DC Prep students, ensuring that the students have access to the healthy nourishment they need to energize their brains and keep them ready to learn! The Food Service Coordinator takes pride in maintaining a clean and orderly school building, looks forward to serving every student with a smile, and is excited to be a part of a school operations team, whose job is to ensure that the school operates like a well-oiled machine. The Food Service Coordinator is a 10-month non-exempt position with a schedule of 40 hours per week. The daily work schedule may vary based on campus needs and will be determined by the role’s supervisor. Additional night and weekend hours and occasional overtime may be required as needed for special campus events and/or emergency situations. The Food Service Coordinator will report to the campus-based operations leader. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
