Job Description

Northwestern Medicine is currently seeking Physicians, board certified or eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine, to join our existing Immediate Care Center clinics.

This position will rotate across Immediate Care Center locations in the Northwest Suburbs including: McHenry, Huntley, and Crystal Lake.

Responsibilities:

  1. Treating patients at NMG Immediate Care Centers, office locations, and healthcare facilities as determined by the President of NMG or his/her designee.
  2. Maintaining a clinical schedule that provides timely and comprehensive medical services to NMG patients.
  3. Teaching medical residents, fellows, students, nurses, and other healthcare providers as required by NMG.
  4. Providing on-call coverage as reasonably required by NMG.
  5. Referring patients requiring specialized care to appropriate specialists and healthcare providers within NMG's affiliated network, considering patient preferences and medical judgment.
  6. Participating in practice unit meetings and quality assurance activities regularly.
  7. Ensuring compliance with billing, documentation, and related policies and procedures established by NMG.
  8. Performing other duties consistent with employment and as assigned by the President or designee.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO).
