Job Description

Northwestern Medicine is currently seeking Physicians, board certified or eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine, to join our existing Immediate Care Center clinics.

This position will rotate across Immediate Care Center locations in Northern Cook County and Chicago, including: Evanston, Lincoln Square, Lakeview, West Loop, Streeterville, River North, and South Loop.

Responsibilities:

1. Treatment of patients at NMG Immediate Care Centers, office locations, and health care facilities as determined by the President of NMG or his/her designee.
2. Maintaining a clinical schedule on such days, hours, and at such locations as necessary to provide timely and comprehensive medical services to NMG patients.
3. Teaching medical residents, fellows, medical students, nurses, and other healthcare providers as required by NMG.
4. Providing on-call coverage as reasonably required by NMG.
5. Referring patients requiring specialized medical care to specialists and healthcare providers within NMG's network, ensuring patient preferences, insurance considerations, and medical judgment are respected.
6. Participating regularly in practice unit meetings and quality assurance activities.
7. Ensuring compliance with billing, documentation, and related policies, procedures, systems, and practices established by NMG.
8. Performing other duties consistent with the Physician's employment as assigned by the President or designee.

Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO).
