Royal Mail is recruiting an IMI Level 3 qualified mechanic for Worcester Workshop on a permanent contract. The role offers a base salary of £39,715 per year with a weekly shift allowance and potential to reach up to £50,000 including overtime.

Hours are full-time with a rotating shift pattern, weekend commitments, and benefits including a matched pension scheme, training plans, PPE, and employee discounts. You will work in a modern, well-equipped workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Full range of inspections, diagnostic, maintenance and repair procedures on vehicles, trailers and equipment.
• Own toolkit for standard repairs and routine maintenance.
• Valid UK driving licence; HGV licence beneficial not essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles and equipment.
• Use personal toolkit for routine maintenance and repairs.
• Access to specialist tooling and modern workshops.
