Job Description:

We are seeking a personable and driven Individual Health & Medicare Account Executive to join our team. This role is centered on supporting individuals, families, and Medicare beneficiaries by helping them understand and select health and supplemental insurance coverage that best fits their needs.

As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with clients to evaluate their options across a range of products, including ACA health plans, Medicare solutions, and additional benefits such as dental, vision, life, and other ancillary coverage. This position combines consultative sales with relationship‑building and ongoing client support.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys connecting with people, explaining complex information in a simple and meaningful way, and being a reliable resource throughout the client’s decision‑making process. Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business opportunities by prospecting and actively seeking referrals
  • Respond to inbound inquiries and leads within the assigned market area in a timely manner
  • Meet with prospects and clients to assess needs, provide guidance, and recommend appropriate coverage options
  • Obtain quotes, prepare proposals, and deliver presentations outlining benefit options; identify opportunities to cross‑sell additional products
  • Process enrollments (both online and paper applications) and ensure accurate and timely follow‑through on policy installation
  • Provide ongoing client support, including handling inquiries and collaborating with Account Managers (AM) on claims or service‑related issues
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of client interactions, activities, and documentation within TAM (agency management system) and PaperWise (document management system)
  • Ensure all follow‑up activities are completed promptly and thoroughly
  • Assist Account Managers with renewal processing and support installation activities as needed
  • Stay current on insurance products, carrier processes, ACA regulations, Medicare guidelines, and compliance requirements
  • Effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment, sometimes under pressure
Requirements:
  • Capacity to balance multiple concurrent timelines and tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to use technology relevant to the company
  • Strong people, analytical, time management and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication (to include phone and email) skills
  • Ability to gain understanding of health plans & terminology, carrier rules & processing
  • Capable of following all Privacy rules when dealing with employee information
  • Patience under pressure
  • High school diploma – some college
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word | Microsoft Excel | Outlook | Internet
