Job summary

UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital in Central Florida is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) to provide hands-on patient care during night shifts. You will work closely with registered nurses to support patient monitoring, comfort measures, and a safe, clean environment.

This full-time position requires a High School Diploma or GED (Post-high school training preferred), Florida CNA license (preferred) and BLS, plus strong English communication as you’ll interact

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Post-high school specialized training is preferred.
• Florida CNA license preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Responsibilities

• Provide basic physical care and nursing procedures under supervision.
• Assist with patient comfort measures and ensure a clean, safe patient environment.
• Support nurses and other staff in patient care in IMCU.
