Job summary

WillHire in Brooklyn, NY seeks an experienced RN - Interventional Radiology to provide direct patient care using the nursing process and to coordinate care for assigned patients. You will supervise licensed staff and collaborate with physicians to support TEE and loop recorder implants.

Required BSN with BLS, ACLS, and PALS; Board Certification (CRN) is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency with EMR systems are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Two years of critical care experience.
• Knowledge of interventional and diagnostic procedures.
• Ability to use IMC's electronic records systems and related healthcare/billing systems.
• Good interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
• Ability to work with physicians for TEE and loop recorder implants.

Job Title: IMC - RN - Interventional Radiology

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Job Summary: Utilize the nursing process in the provision of direct patient care. Responsible and accountable for prescribing, delegating, and coordinating all care provided to assigned patients. Delivery of care is based on the standards of care and practices established by the Department of Nursing and other policies and procedures (hospital, nursing, multidisciplinary). Diagnose and treat human responses to actual and potential health problems through such services as case finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of care supportive or restorative of life and well-being. Supervise patient care provided by licensed practical nurses (LPNs), registered nurses on permit (RNP), nursing attendants, technicians, and supplemental staff.

Required Qualifications

• Two (2) years of critical care experience.
• Knowledge and competency of both interventional and diagnostic procedures.
• Ability to fully utilize IMC's electronic record systems, equipment, and other healthcare and billing systems relevant to this position.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with the physician for TEE and loop recorder implants.
