Job summary

Kearney County Health Services Radiology Services seeks a Radiological Technologist and Ultrasound Technician to perform X-ray, CT, DEXA, and C-arm fluoroscopy, plus ultrasound exams for adults and children on-site.

Must hold Nebraska Medical Radiographer licensure and ARRT certification; ARDMS preferred. BLS required. Requires ALARA, QC/QA, and EMR documentation; on-call rotations with 30-minute response, and occasional weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Active Nebraska radiography licensure and ARRT certification.
• ARDMS preferred but not required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray, CT, DEXA and C-arm fluoroscopy imaging.
• Conduct ultrasound/sonography examinations as trained.
• Ensure ALARA and Radiation Safety practices.
• Review exams and report results to ordering providers.
• Document charges and operate within the EMR system.
• Maintain QC/QA procedures and participate in related training.
• On-call rotations with prompt response times and weekend coverage.
