Job summary

Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, MI is seeking an Imaging Technologist to join our Radiology team and perform radiographic exams for patients of all ages in accordance with physician orders and departmental policies.

This full-time role (0.8 FTE, 64 hours per pay period) includes weekend work. Applicants should have a radiology certificate or associate degree, ARRT(R) registry, CPR certification, and a strong commitment to radiation safety.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of radiology standards and procedures as per approved radiology school.
• Active ARRT (R) registry.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic exams on patients of all ages according to orders and policies.
• Identifies patient, verifies orders, obtains history as needed, and documents information.
• Prepares patient for procedures and provides instructions to obtain desired results and minimize anxiety.
• Operates radiographic equipment and accessories to perform procedures.
