Job summary

Aspirus Iron River Hospital in Iron River, MI is seeking an Imaging Technologist to join our Radiology team. You will perform radiographic exams, verify orders, and ensure patient safety while operating radiographic equipment according to standards.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, documenting history, and maintaining ARRT registry and CPR certification as required by the role.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved radiology school with a certificate or Associate Degree in Radiology.
• Active ARRT (R) registry.
• Current CPR certification.
• Expert knowledge of radiation protection to minimize exposure.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic exams on patients of all ages according to physician orders and policies.
• Verifies patient identity, orders, and informed consent as needed; documents history.
• Prepares patients and explains procedures to obtain desired results and reduce anxiety.
• Operates radiographic equipment and accessories to perform procedures.
