Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Imaging department in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Radiologic Technologist. You will perform radiographic procedures, ensure correct patient positioning, and optimize technical parameters for each case.

Uphold radiation safety standards, assist physicians with procedures including CT, and ensure image integrity in PACS while maintaining a clean, welcoming imaging area for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist credentialed in Radiography.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist credentialed in Computed Tomography.
• Education: high school diploma/equivalency with 2 years of experience or an Associate's/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures with accurate patient positioning and optimized technical parameters.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and regulatory compliance to protect patients and staff.
• Assist physicians with specialized procedures and safely administer contrast media as required.
• Maintain image integrity in PACS and keep imaging area organized for a smooth patient experience.

Education

ARRT Radiography credentialed

ARRT Computed Tomography credentialed
