Job summary

Southeast Health is seeking a dedicated imaging support technician to assist technologists, operate select imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety across age groups. You will help with documentation, data entry, and basic patient transport as needed.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate data handling, and adherence to radiation safety and infection prevention policies within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; enrolled in a Diagnostic Imaging program.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited Diagnostic Imaging program (2nd year preferred).
• Undergraduate degree is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist technologists in imaging procedures and equipment operation.
• Review examinations for technical accuracy and relay data to radiologists.
• Document patient information in PACS and billing systems.
• Maintain safety and infection control during procedures.
• Support in interventional radiology cases as needed.
