Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to capture high-quality X-ray images across a network of hospitals and clinics. You will work with advanced imaging equipment to support diagnosis and treatment planning.

Required: graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT registration or obtain within 6 months, SC licensure, BLS, and 0–2 years of modality-specific experience. MUSC is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• 0 to 2 years of modality-specific work experience.
• Must be registered with the ARRT; registry within 6 months of hire if not yet registered.
• Licensure from the SC Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical exams using X-rays to capture images for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Operate state-of-the-art imaging equipment to produce high-quality radiographs.
• Assist radiologists in diagnostic interpretation and patient care across SC facilities.
• Support patient positioning, safety protocols, and documentation across multiple sites.
