Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage, AK, is seeking an Imaging Technologist to perform radiologic procedures with professional judgment and compassionate care. You will deliver high-quality images to support diagnosis while maintaining a friendly, patient-centered environment.

The role involves radiology department procedures, portable exams, and c-arm work across the hospital, with ongoing learning of current techniques to best serve patients.

Qualifications

• Vocational School Graduate
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• ARRT-R Radiography must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for providing to the patient, the proper procedure with excellent quality images to assist the physician in the diagnosis of the patient’s condition or health complaint.
• You will perform a variety of imaging procedures in the radiology department as well as portable exams and c-arm procedures throughout the hospital.
• You will be responsible to schedule, plan, implement and complete the request for service and provide a friendly and compassionate environment in keeping with the "care like family" mission of the hospital.
• You will possess knowledge of growth and development; and have an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.
• You will be responsible to stay up to date of current techniques and procedures.

Education

Vocational School Graduate

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days

ARRT-R Radiography within 1 year
