Job summary

Siena Hospital in Henderson, NV, is seeking an Imaging Technologist to perform advanced diagnostic and interventional imaging across modalities. You will operate complex equipment, follow imaging protocols, and monitor patients to ensure safety and comfort throughout procedures.

Requirements include 2+ years of imaging experience, AMA‑approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration, ACLS and BLS certifications, and ongoing RQI competency post‑hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of experience as an Imaging Technologist.
• AMA‑approved Radiologic Technology program is required.
• Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT) is required.
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Maintain quarterly American Heart Association RQI competency post‑hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and execute imaging protocols.
• Monitor patients for safety and comfort during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Imaging Tech, you will perform a variety of advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures across diverse imaging modalities, under the general direction of departmental leadership.

Every day, you will expertly operate complex imaging equipment, precisely execute imaging protocols, and meticulously monitor patients to ensure their safety and comfort throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will skillfully produce high‑quality diagnostic images, collaborate effectively with the medical team, and steadfastly advocate for patient safety and optimal outcomes within the imaging environment.

• Ensures a safe environment related to equipment, bed/cart rails, and mental status.
• Provides radiological education that includes explanation and rationale for all tests, equipment, and procedures, explaining them to the patient prior to performance.
• Allows control and choices over situations and environments as appropriate to condition and situation.
• Allows for cultural and religious beliefs in providing services.
• Observes for signs of abuse/neglect.

Job Requirements (Required)

• Minimum two (2) years of experience as an Imaging Technologist. Catheterization Laboratory experience preferred.
• Completion of an AMA‑approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Proficient in interpreting EKG and Intra‑Aortic Balloon Pump training.
• Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT).
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Maintain quarterly American Heart Association Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post‑hire, using internal resources only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field.
