Job summary

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is seeking an Imaging Technologist to perform a variety of technical procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnosis. The ideal candidate will be compassionate and focused on providing high-quality patient-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
  • Valid ARRT-R certification in Radiography.

Hourly Wage Estimate: $29.91 - $41.87 / hour

Job Summary

As an Imaging (Radiology) Technologist, you will perform professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for providing the patient with the proper procedure with excellent quality images to assist the physician in the diagnosis of the patient’s condition or health complaint.
  • You will perform a variety of imaging procedures in the radiology department as well as portable exams and c-arm procedures throughout the hospital.
  • You will be responsible for scheduling, planning, implementing, and completing the request for service and provide a friendly and compassionate environment in keeping with the “care like family” mission of the hospital.
  • You will possess knowledge of growth and development; and have an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.
  • You will be responsible for staying up to date of current techniques and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
  • (ARRT-R) Radiography.
