Shared Imaging is currently looking to hire a PRN Imaging Technologist Aide in Sacramento, CA!

Work Schedule:

  • No guaranteed schedule (at this time, subject to change)
  • 12-hour shifts (645AM - 715PM)
  • Site is open Monday - Sunday
  • Opportunity to transition into a part-time or full-time role when available

The ideal candidate must possess:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • CPR/BLS Certification (via American Heart Association) required
  • Certified Medical Assistant preferred
  • Anatomy and physiology understanding preferred
  • Patient care experience strongly preferred
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task
  • Hard working, detail-oriented, and committed to outstanding patient care
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Travel may be required, travel allowance is offered

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting and directing patients
  • Confirming and registering patients
  • Verifying all necessary information is available for the test

  • Ability to walk to and from hospital and trailer as needed
  • Assist patients in and out of the trailer
  • Ability to push wheelchairs, gurneys and stretchers
  • Assist technologist with positioning patient and assisting them on and off the scanning table
  • Assist in setting up MRI or PET/CT scanning rooms
  • Stocking and maintaining patient dressing rooms, scan rooms and control areas
  • Ordering supplies
  • Other responsibilities as directed

The hourly rate for this role is $23/hr., with daily guaranteed overtime (12 hour shifts) however, base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is also eligible for a performance-based merit increase annually. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
