Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Licensed Rad Tech in the State of Indiana.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certified.
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Explains procedures to the patient to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.
• Records any relevant medical history.
• Moves X-ray equipment to specific positions and adjusts exposure factors.
• Practices radiation protection techniques with beam restrictions and shielding.
• Maintains x-ray rooms and work areas, and orders stocks.
