Job summary

Covenant Health in Lenoir City is looking for an Imaging Technician to perform radiographic procedures and maintain safety standards. The Imaging Technician will produce X-ray images, collaborate with healthcare practitioners on patient care, and assist in other imaging services as necessary.

This role requires completion of an accredited educational program in imaging and eligibility for ARRT registry. Candidates must ensure patient safety and uphold quality care conventions.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to achieve necessary certifications.
• Must have completed an accredited educational program.
• Registered ARRT (R) within six months of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality X-ray images through complex tasks.
• Collaborate patient history with procedures and document effectively.
• Perform diagnostic imaging and assist licensed practitioners.
• Ensure patient safety and apply infection prevention techniques.
• Maintain clerical duties and manage supplies as needed.
• Assist in training and orientation of other staff.
