Job summary

Covenant Health is seeking an Imaging Technician II to perform radiographic procedures with a focus on safety and image quality in the TN Brain & Spine unit. The role requires ALARA principles, ARRT certification, and the ability to work a day shift on a full-time schedule.

You will operate radiographic equipment, coordinate with care teams, maintain records, and adhere to HIPAA. Training, BLS, and ongoing education are expected as part of delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification is required.
• State licensure requirements may apply.
• Experience with radiology information systems and PACS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure and ensure safety.
• Perform routine and complex radiographic procedures as ordered.
• Document orders and patient history in the medical record.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and area cleanliness in imaging suites.
• Assist in training and orientation of new staff and students.
• Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality policies.
